If everyone just keeps updating then in effect the contest deadline is being extended. That's not fair (no offense MMU). Further updates should not be allowed until the maps are judged.
^This... I have the first badge of the entry maps taken exactly when the contest was over. Those are the maps I'll judge.
@ makemeunreal please take your fixed version down for now.

Wait did you setup the fixed music download link before or after the contest ended.

Future reference, when you've got that much content on the first post of a thread, maybe put the download link closer to the top?

I didn't add the not-corrupted-music-version one to the first post.

Here's a few extra, concept maps I made before the final layout. Testin' buildings, textures...
Heavily experimental stuff. Some collectors may find it interestin'.

This will be added as an "Extra" to the first post too!

UT crashed somehow and I couldn't see anything... I looked like I was in the void I was surrounded by a HOM like error. But this was only visual, because the bots could frag me.
I got this GPF when the system finally went down.

Well. It must be some BSP error which only occurs on OpenGL. Cuz I had no problem runnin' it D3D9 or 11 nor did my friends have.
No performance issues as well.
I'll improve the brushwork in some areas after the contest.

I'm very glad that you guys liked my map in general. It looks like that biggest and strongest complaint was the theme, which was the complete of opposite of the contests theme.

Let me add a little trivia-like-thingy here.

The very first idea was to build a bath a spa-like Nali temple overran by the Chaos lords leavin' nothin' but blood, and guts behind.
I was, however unable to deliver this due to the lack of my favorite image editor, Photoshop.
I couldn't deliver that feeling without it.

Let me show you somethin':
The map supposed to have the name: DM-CMC-Cesspool due to the fact that it would give home to extremely disgustin' stuff.
I didn't change the name durin' the process as you can see. The last version was cess80 which got renamed to Letitia.
That's how the rotten-ugly-disgustin'-cesspoolish theme did a 180 grade turn.

Letitia is the name of my girlfriend's. Another bit of trivia.

Not buying the "openGL" excuse.

Bad map = disqualified.
If you rushed it and sent a bad map, relax, slow down, make a good map. :)

Well you deserve much credit for trying the water above and zones among other things.

The main thing is there needs to be more ways to go up, like another stairway and maybe some jumpspot.

The flickering lights got to go, and the fog-smoke, I think the brightness should be toned down just a tad (total map brightness in level properties try .75 ) . All of those are not good for DM playing. Still a pretty good job on what you set out to do, and that BSP problem made me have to hit alt cntrl del.
I looked in the editor but can't find where I was.

For the smoke (water splash-mist) to be good here is find some small areas and use some small puffs. In that way it will still add to the looks but not in the way.

I don't think I can check out all the maps before voting ends, not sure how much time is left.

Not bad  fix er up !
