Some people will not take the time to explore this map and I understand that. For them the subtle things will just not register.
Relax a bit. Poke around. Yeah, it's a DM map but this is really not in spirit, it's much more a demo of some things I've wanted to try and with paper's help I think we accomplished quite well. Expect this to be a coop map next year, likely in the 227 engine.
I decided to host all the DM-CMC maps from the contest on my DM server. Except for the "Lord of the Void" since the Void.umx was gonna cause mismatch file with the already existing Void.umx. Also reason I'm posting under this map topic specificly is because this map caused this GPF while me and Diego were testing.
Had the map been running for a while? I saw crashing like this in testing every once in a while too. In the code tick is disabled when you have enough rain and turned back on if you need to add more drops for some reason (occasionally they get destroyed or fail to spawn due to spawning on top of each other). There is *so* much going on in that map behind the scenes, every minute there are ~1200 actor spawns and that many deletions. It's really too much for a server to handle solidly. It's not surprising to me that there are problems because I packed the kitchen sink into this map so you could see all the possibilities.
Diego's error is from a different cause. I'm guessing it's the room controller running through it's destroying code to clear a room he cannot see. Likely there was a burst of actor swapping and it became too much for the server to handle at that moment. That's my fault, I should have coded the room controller timers to never overlap because every few minutes they will.
I'm sorry for the issues guys. I was really pushing things with this project but I'm sure they can be resolved. You wouldn't see any of this if the concept was used more realistically in a map, I made it way over the top to showcase it all.

Me and Diego enjoyed your packed kitchen sink. Very nice indeed. I'm sure if you cut back on some of those extras or re-worked the timers it would work fine just fine.
