Masked texture City.SkylineA1?

Post by Barbie »

I just put the map "MH-MonsterBurger" on my server and noticed that the SkyBox is full of HoMs. The mapper has used the Texture city.SkylineA1 (see Pic) and the HoMs appear in the black background area. But only, if I play the map online - if I run it local, there are no HoMs. And the Texture does not seem to be masked, nor the flag Masked is set. Server's and client's file city.utx are identical. Why does that look different?

I don't have the normal MH version but I do have the [SP] version of it running on my U227 coop server. I looked at it in editor and also played it online and it's all good. Not sure if Rush fixed it or not but it's good there. I also looked at the default texture in UT editor and it looks OK.

Not sure if that answers anything for you but I feel your pain in wanting to know these sorts of things.
So long, and thanks for all the fish

Very strange behaviour: Playing on my test server, the HoMs are present, playing on my public server, no HoMs are visible. :noidea (Also no HoMs are visible, when fly through solid material in ghost mode.)

(My local test server is a template for my public server: after I have checked maps, mods or whatever I mirror all files of my test server to the public one, except some configuration files (see below) and so the installation should be the same - especially Client's city.utx, public server's city.utx and test server's city.utx ARE the same. (The public one is a 64 bit linux and the test server is 32 bit architecture, but this should not make a difference for UT and should not have a relation to HoMs.))
none mirrored files
