Whenever I start UnrealEd 2 in UT99 it causes this very peculiar problem where the master browser appears completely blank
This only occurs in UT99 and occurs on both the disk version and the Steam version. I've also tested compatibility settings but that hasn't helped either.
This is also after a fresh install of the game.

Re: UnrealEd bug
You've no doubt already tried this; does it make any difference if you run in Compatibility Mode? Or as an Administrator?

I've tried Windows 95, 98 and XP but it hasn't made a difference.ShaiHulud wrote:You've no doubt already tried this; does it make any difference if you run in Compatibility Mode? Or as an Administrator?
I believe I read somewhere that it's related to the directory the game is in (IE how long the name is) but even after installing it in D:\UT99 it still does it.
For some reason this only affects UT99, Unreal Gold and other Unreal engine games don't suffer from this problem.

I been wanting to mention this, win7 64bit, I been running under win2000 mode, seems like it has been a lot more solid these days. Unless I did some other thing, so not really sure.
I think you have a font problem.

Re: UnrealEd bug
I wonder if the default viewports can be changed from unrealed.ini ? For instance like View > Viewports > Configure > third configuration from the left. As well as set Drag Grid Size to 256 ?
