Yeah, also pretty much agree with Dave here. But don't underestimate what Swanky said:
I vividly remember beta threads from the early 2000's in an german forum and even with 80 - 85% rated maps it was more like "Change this, change that, that is S*!%, that sucks, do it like this."
That's how we all learned mapping: By getting that exact kind of feedback and listening to it.
For AMC-Modular, I even felt the urge to clarify that I actually like the map a lot besides all my criticism. I wouldn't have written this final part back then at unrealed.de, and still noone would have wondered.

Anyway... My map is final as well, see here: DM-AMC-Gluon

My Win partition went down today, now I'm using Linux, so I don't know if I will be able to fix the map imperfections, probably the only things I would have fixed were the wrong texture on a side of the mover and the whole mover being a custom one just to be able to kill bots when I could have used a normal mover which someone showed me could have worked either way.

I believe it's until the 10th inclusive, so I would say you have until 23:59:59 UTC of 10th to deliver it, but @papercoffee has yet to confirm this (I asked this before, no answer, but he got sick at the time, so I ended up not pursuing the matter :) ).

The Time is ticking until 23:59:59 UTC 10th of December you have time to upload your final map!
Everything after 23:59:59 UTC counts as DNF and can be only included into the final map pack but will not participate in the voting.

Worked for me. Think I have prefered the regular version just without an affix. I know Xpickups and Nali Weapons are different but I mixed it up the first time I booted up the map and went "?!?". I feel the speed pickup is almost mandatory in this big map. Overall good job, I'm not completely cool with the layout (see beta thread) and the size is not my cup of tea, but still, good job.

Agree.

Works for me as well, but without the speed pickup, you somewhat wish for PUBG's auto-run feature, so you could make yourself a tea and maybe answer one or two emails while going for the enemy flag. :ironic:

It took few minutes to upload the zip file, so I'm not really late :/
This is the map, I don't have my OS right now so I teached my bro how to use UnrealEd through phone which took hours and he was able to change 1 texture (which was wrong placed) and to take some screenshots in game.

You have still over 23 hours left.
When this clock https://time.is/UTC reaches 23:59:59 is the contest over.

thanks for the posts guys :tu:

yeah - don't think i'll make anything this big again, glad it's done, tho.
An exercise in restraint, really. Resisted filling it up with crates and tanks,
for polys sakes.

I am working on another CTF map atm, much bigger challenge CSG/BSP wise.
The layout is fairly spread out. "Squarish" rather than long and narrow.

If run as a Deathmatch map could easily fit 20 players, thus could work well
with the PUBG mod JackGriffin is submitting to the AMC.

I'll see if I can get it to BETA state soon, to take advantage of the mod being
"fresh" :)

Cheers
