Would someone fix this map for me?

Post by Aldebaran » Sun Jul 14, 2019 4:06 pm

It's not really a bug, I have this issue with the map:
On my server I am using a file called Snow.u for other maps and the map in case needs a file called Snow.uax, so if the map should be played the server loads the .u file instead of the .uax file and discontinue/crash the map.
Is it possible to change the Snow.uax filename to perhaps Snowsnd.uax and rebind the sounds with the map editor?
I tried it but I am not so good in editing and have not found the Snow sounds in the map.
Please do not put too much effort into it, if it's not that easy let it go...
The Readme says "Do what you like." so it should be ok to do changes to the map.

Would be nice to find the author and ask if it's ok to do that.

I'd probably MyLevel the sounds if there aren't too many of them used from that package. Won't be near a UT for a while though, so yeah.

As per you said, you can rename that map and use your own version!

Please for Christ stake, stop posting same map name/file name for incoming mismatches. At least the mods took it down.

Aldebaran, good to hear it's taken care of. :)
