DM-20AC-IciclePyramidTest crashes less than a minute into play.

No crash log? Edit: Found it. Easy fix lol

I don't know how the 27's got into the zip folder. I'm having a lot of problem with these lately.

Just touching base to say that I'm still in it! I think I'll be done by the deadline no problem as long as nothing especially taxing comes up at work.

Haven't had a chance to try it out yet but I notice that it uses what is, by my count, the third version of Nova.utx - this one is considerably larger than the other two and so presumably contains textures used in the map(s) you've posted here previously as well as new ones.

It's not a good idea to use the same name for files containing different content as this will give rise to mismatches.

Made some progress with my map, here is a beta version.

Also, is there any way to randomize which path bot takes to attack? They seem to take the same route every time :loool:

No feedback this time. I won't replace Nova.utx located in my system with the one provided with map, else with old Nova.utx map it's not working because a required texture is missing. You can MyLevel this texture because no one needs any mismatch error. That's all about using Generic names.

Notwithstanding that, I like the urban theme and the layout - there's a good variety of different sized spaces with long and short range action - overall a nice map for hunting a few monsters (I haven't played CTF in it yet).

@OjitroC: I must admit, I did not think about the HD texture packs, in order to be compatible maybe I shouldn't do the texture hack I did for the buildings in the background.

I'm expecting a few of these, I was not exactly strict with the brush ordering nor the alignment, will have to cover up somehow!

Thank you for finding these issues! I wouln't have figured out that players with HD textures would failed to load, since I'm only using stock texture here, it would make sense to keep it compatible.

Quick question: do bonus maps require to have the contest badge or not?

Since bonus maps are essentially maps which were already in progress, it's very likely that in some there might not be a good spot to place it by now, so it would be best to clarify this before folks submit bonus maps without it.
