Hi,

taking advantage of the topic is there any way to add bots around the map, standing without attacking?

To answer your question: No
...when you add bots they start walking around and gather weapons to shoot at you.
That's what their purpose is.

Some mappers use stationary "statue" type bots, as are in quite a few maps I have played.
I just played a Monster Hunt map last night on CMH that had some sort of bots all hanging out at a bar.
There are also some that you can actually shoot and kill like in maps like DM-WildWest <-(spelling?)
Adding regular bots to a map, when creating/editing the map, you should be able to open its properties (right click on it) and set it as you wish, I would think.

Not necessarily.

The ones papercoffee refers to are in the red, and they all end with "bot".

The ones in the green are essentially the same, but they're not technically bots. It's possible they might be what you want, but I'm not 100% sure.

Adding bots to a map is going to mess with the scoring, isn't it?

Well, the ones in green are TournamentPlayers (what human players play as) - the models, skins, sounds etc are the same but the code is rather different. You can add a Player to a map and it won't do anything but it's not going to look good and, again, it will mess with the scoring.

Those are pawns, not bots.
Yes player play technically as a pawn.

Again adding Players in maps and waiting them to press fire and ending in another trash? You gotta be insane at ignorance, this was posted already about players in maps... Do that and I'll ruin it in 30 seconds...

Bots placed/edited directly on maps can't pick up weapons during Last Man Standing, only actual bots can but the bots you edit directly onto a map cannot. Is there another way to prevent them from picking up weapons? Either code or in their individual base settings?

No, of course Players shouldn’t be added to maps - I don’t think anybody is suggesting that that is done - it would, as you say, be insane. I always delete them if I come across them in maps.

There appears to be a small bug in the pathing on that map as the Bot got caught up running backwards and forwards by one of the vertical tubes.

I think I read someplace that you are supposed to use "IntroDude" under the deco.

A "happy" carcass can be "killed" and it won't even cry unless you setup an event with some sound... it's goes pieces and... done. You haven't learned anything from that "CrucifiedNali" ? Of course, animations are not matching Nali but... MyLevel does the trick with a class modified correctly.

I am not sure, I don't think introdude even has collision, and has animation.

Just checked and the IntroDude does have collision (22x22) - it has 200 frames of a shake animation (head moving from side to side and hands moving). The IntroBoss is similar but with far fewer animation frames (basically, it waves one arm). So either of these could be used, depending on the desired effect, as well as a carcass.
