Oooh! That is looking cool! I am digging it! :v
"Everyone is an idea man. Everybody thinks they have a revolutionary new game concept that no one else has ever thought of. Having cool ideas will rarely get you anywhere in the games industry. You have to be able to implement your ideas or provide some useful skill. Never join a project whose idea man or leader has no obvious development skills. Never join a project that only has a web designer. You have your own ideas. Focus on them carefully and in small chunks and you will be able to develop cool projects."

Looks like it could be something from the Space Harrier games, pattern wise, I'm digging it as well and really looking forward to see the result :)

I don't have much of a clue myself. It's working name is 'Mechapeed'.

Stage 8:
-Started removing 227 only requirements.
-Removed StaticMeshes, now using Meshes. Wings will return soon.
-New prototype body segments.
-Created prototypes for the head (left) and tail (right).
-Lots of backend clean up.

Edit:
Stage 9, Wings are back! Can't show with a static image but the wings have dynamic roll.

I love the look of it.

So, if I understand this right, all those body segments are not connected but just fly on that curve?

Yep, the Pawn itself is actually the pawn sprite you can see by the head, the cyan line shows the path that it takes, vertical travel is in the works.
All the body segments are Decorations (at least for now) that move along the sine wave. Up until stage 8 the body segments were actually WoodenBoxes that I'd swapped the meshes on... I had an interesting bug before where the WoodenBoxs / Segments weren't updating so when the Pawn Circled the tower it would crash into them causing them to fall and shatter into planks...
