The "scripted texture" you are forced to use for scoreboards (and other things I tried) seems to work. I only ever use OpenGL since the beginning of Time. LoL D3D is terrible looking, terrible loading, fucks up alt tab , slow ass shit fuck D3D.

That may have been true with the original non-D3D renderers, including the OpenGL which came with the base game, but at least starting with the UTGLR renderers scripted textures work with OpenGL, otherwise you wouldn't see the ammo count in the weapon screens, like in the Flak Cannon for example (those are scripted textures as well).
