Looking for a long-lost map by Faceless

Post by Yeoman »

Faceless made a different version of his HyperBoreal map, named "DM-HyperSG1-TE". It's supposed to have new textures and better bot mapping.

This is the only media I could find of the map:

I can't find the map anywhere, does anyone somehow still have this map stashed somewhere?

Wow, I love the HyperBoreal map, so I am also interested in that version, sounds and looks interesting. :D
On a side note, I get very low volume with the hyperbore.umx, also used in maps like Deck_40 and Bralta. It does not matter what version of UT I use. Is this normal?

Only found a dead russian link for it here: http://unrealturnir.narod.ru/
And a mention of the map edit here: https://nalicity.beyondunreal.com/map_hub.php?mid=3084

My usual Google Kung-fu failed me, I got the same results Gecko did.

Went through UnrealArchive's listings of Faceless' maps, hoping to get an email to write him directly and ask him about it... but couldn't find anything current. His listed email is @'d to PlanetUnreal, but that's not there anymore.

There's a download for it here · http://chomikuj.pl/Sfires87/Dokumenty/DeatchMatch,7 · but it's a weird site and it seems tricky.

Well, what I see so far is that you can download files under 1MB for free, for the others you have to pay. The file is 1.05 MB. :lol2: I see a few rarities there, so maybe...research how trustworthy the website is? Cause it looks like the search could end right here.

I tried and would make it available to everyone. But I'm from Brazil and from here he didn't accept my SMS...

It looks like you can register on the site and download up to 50MB per week for free.

Wow, I had to play the map again to understand. There is a glitch here, some sort of "invisible floor".
EDIT: DM-Hyperboreal does not have that glitch. Maybe open both maps with the editor to see what was changed?
