Remastered Agony and Deck.

Hey everyone. Hopped in to share a couple of my latest works from the past few days.
Agony and Deck16 Remastered / Redux. whatever how you like to call it.
Please if you find any MAJOR bug that affects the gameplay give me a feedback here. 2nd versions may can happen. These maps are in Beta state at the moment until my TDM cup will starts at winter in the sniper community.
I found these designs on NuLL BunnyTrack maps. I dont know further origin about the design pack.

dude, would be nice if you were to participate in the upcoming and ot yet done mappack the 25th anniversary ut pack

The map .zips include what eappear to be stock texture packs:

Agony Remix:

If these files were left out, it would save approx 18mb for the Agony .zip andd 22mb for the Deck .zip

These maps look great, BTW. Adding Detail Textures would really put them over the top.

I not only removed stock files from archives but... I repacked them as "7z" format. Result -> Deck16 from a clean archive of 44 MB went to 39 MB in 7z format - perhaps compression can be improved if I would waste more time with settings...

Either way it looks Awesome...
Pathing chapter might be better such as InventorySpot67 is lost, it has no "markedItem" and FlakCannon is there but not linked with a "myMarker"... I used option bLinkExchgItem from MapGarbage with both of them selected for linking them together.

But...
Holy cow!!! :rock:
These maps gave me that feeling of playing UT for the first time. The game feels brand new!!! These are versions I will definitely play often. :gj:

(Also, yes, get the HD textures for this, you won't regret it. :wink: )

Agony remix is missing the screenshot and maybe needs some skybox tweaking to hide the seams.

But man, these maps have such a fresh feel to them. The textures and lighting are fantastic, well done! :thuup:

I noticed disembodied flares when I first started re-working Hydro from the stock map. Couldn't find any flares (light actors) in the editor veiwports, but they appear in-game.

Thanks letting me know about the flares. I did not see them because these are turned off for me. so i didnt even noticed these are there lol.

Oh actually the Deck one has these rows of the white ones still there as well, didn't notice these as much lol :tongue:

@fudgonaut, think they are more noticeable if you change the renderer of the 3D view to D3D9 or similar, tend to be super tiny light actors :mrgreen:

Never been a fan of Deck (nor any of its "remakes") but this Redux version in particular is really cool. I have to agree with TankBeef here, you get the feeling of playing UT for the first time.
