@Frag, Hmh, I think you really overused the monk statues.

@ editorDave - come to think of it, the overly brown appearance of shot 1 and 4 are likely due to the fact i'm looking towards shadow. Shot 2 has sunlight from the west, still brownish, but a bit of contast there - This is mainly WOT, which is mostly brown, grey, black stone and brick, and dark wood.

@rohitggarg - not sure what you're sayin' there ... do you think it needs more work? The lighting is pretty much finished in this map, except for some interior lighting ... for lack of a proper sunlight actor (i.e. as in later ue) it was very time consuming and difficult process to get ceiling openings to cast the sunlight inside correctly. I'm not sayin there's award winning shadow work in this map, but it looks pretty accurate whenever you encounter it.

@isotoxin - Many people have seen this "map" over the years (some in their editors too) heh, but you're the first person to complain about the monks, lol! - they did complain about lots of other things, but not the monks :) Well what do you think I should do? Who's guarding this holy temple, so to speak?

Hmh, Well, I think you could at least change the skin of some monks, so they don't all look the same. If you see bout 20 exact the same statues, that's weird ^^. Anyway, Map looks really interesting, Can't wait to play it.

*EDIT*

I'm talking bout screen-shot 1 btw.

Lava looks a little bit dark, maybe you can add some smaller red lights (from the radius) on its surface. Apart from that, its ok.

I love ancient maps... make the lava less dark... add more lights and try to brighten that lava up... the more glowing it looks, the more lava-ish it looks

I see similarities between this map and Sjosz's UT3 map Cardinal. Looks great though.

I thought it looks like more Epic-Boy ...mostly because of the texture pack.
