So, let me post something of a bunnytrack map which i've been working on for quite some time right now. The inspiration came mainly from 2 maps (Hyperion's ONP map, and NalisAzure][) I started this project after playing those maps. I have about 1:30mins gameplay finished, in a real rush run. The map is just a village right now, with lots of enterable builings. Finishing the one building will get you into the other one. Anyway, enough talking - Gameplay wise, nothing much to see...

A bunnytrack map with NOT shitty graphics. Unbelievable but it can happen.
About to be non-active
My very last UT map project: CTF-FacePalm (tropical CTF-Face remake)
Why do I leave? click here
What I want to do next: Joining an UDK team (uncertain however) and improve 3D modelling and texture editing skills
Thanks to those who visibly supported me until/at the end!

The best looking maps I ever saw are mostly BT maps. There are literally a ton of popular BT maps which actually look very good and feel VERY atmospheric.

I think my both hands and feet are not nearly enough to count them actually.

I guess you didn't visit a BT server for a long time, but I sure you, the only thing that I liked about BT was to see those beautiful maps, yeah, many of them look bad, but there are the others which are worth it.
For example: BT-Rush (I think it's called that way, not sure, but it's freaking awesome looking), one of the most popular BT maps actually (it's like the DM-Deck16 or CTF-Face of the BT maps).
And there are a ton more, idk their names though (one of them with dinosaurs even, temples, caves, all sort of stuff).

I have to agree with ferali here. There are dozens of BT maps that simply go beyond usual standards in UT mapping. I can't recall them by name since I'm hardly a BT player, but I've stumbled into BT servers and seen maps I've just had to download and ghost through for inspiration. Some BT maps are probably the most close to perfection I've seen in multiplayer UT, quality wise as good as some of the best single player Unreal/UT maps out there.

actually, i wasn't sure if it was a sun or a moon, so i called it an orb :) it does look too big...

actually, you may consider just ditching it and refine the sunset lighting/coloring to more sunsetting/twilight - like it just went down below the horizon... that might look better considering you can see stars at this time of day and your ambient levels are low (darker)
