Wrapped in a cube ... yes.

But you can call it a cube map.

More or less. Not like the movie Hypercube, which someone actually did make an MH map of, damned tough one too, but yeah.

Though this is more cubes next to cubes. Grid of 4x4, you battle in to a spiral pattern to the middle and then you teleport to a rectangle.

[SPG] apparently was going through a cubist period.

Kinda curious to see if I can find other maps of his...

well unfortunately, there's not much to play here, yet... so far it's a linear path up to the top of that thing (spawn, walk, lift down, walk, open door, walk, lift up, pick up gun, walk out door, walk around to a lift, fight a skaarj guard, go up the lift, walk around again, kill two more guards, up anothger lift, walk around, fight another skaarj, enter a small control room, kill the two kraals and the skaarj soldier, walk over to a panel, activate ... that's where i'm at :)

somethings got to happen when you activate the panel (there are 4 panels). I think each panel will lead to another map (or area in the same map)
haven't really decided. I might get rid of the panels and use some other method of activating what comes next... maybe something tricky with movers.

Could be a small SP thing, or maybe a solitary monster hunt map... dunno yet :)

It really is looking nice, specially with these old stock textures.

I can not see a shit on this screenshot! It would be okay if you would maximize a single viewport before screenshoting, but the whole thing with that tiny resolution? Nah! Not good! Please make some better ones!

Much better. For a BT map it looks really good. Too bad I just learned texture rendering just a few days ago to make things like that. :ironic:
