Green and moody? I like :o

But at pic 2, the right torch has a "greenie", i.e. the brightness is too high that it creates some wierd green additional light you don't want to have.
The waterfall is a little dull and edgy.. You could add fog, smoke, or round the sheet where the water splashes over.

LOL :) There's always stuff that can improve, and that applies to all of us that map...

Whenever you're ready for a beta test, send me your map and I'll give you screens and comments :satan:

Actually, screenshots can be really deceptive - in game is best way to see lighting, texture work and scaling - not to mention gameplay.

I assume the areas are W.I.P. and you're still adding stuff, right?

As to the brush count of 1400+ that's not really very much, based on the size in the end you could have 2000-3000 assuming as well the zoning is done right.

Personally I prefer CTF or DOM over BT, reason mainly I was mostly a CTF player (when I was a player)... BT can get insanely difficult (in my case) since i've never been a greatly agile player (yeah, so usually stuck on defence, lol) Anyways, I can still look the maps over, which is what I do with the BT ones ...

Well, The biggest problem is the fact that this is a II-map, (teammap), 2 players are needed to be able to cap this, and true, Alot of stuff to get done yet...

Well, in that room the water raises, the waterfall moves along as the water level raises, and else it'll be way to complicated to get that done.

***woops double post***

Next time you can edit your last post and delete your double post.
As long as no one has answered to your writing, is this easy to do.

Here my WIP ...it is more a experiment if I can do it or not.
Core.png
Each wall has a angle of 60° and this map will use many zone-portals.
You can only fight with projectile based weapons. My brain hurts now.

Oh btw.
Who can guess how this map will look like?

UT1 sucks with Warpzones, papercube (your new nickname). The map does not look as if it could end up like a lot of work. :-/

What I want to do next: Joining an UDK team (uncertain however) and improve 3D modelling and texture editing skills

Wow, thats actually real sick looking! However, it looks alit overlit, but there are lots of ways to get rid of that! Also, the corridors look empty, try some missing tilles, boxes, plants, some destroyed walls, rocks sticking out..... that will make this look even better! I'm impressed.
