It looks good though. :)
From your other topic, I assume this to be an instagib map?
It seems to have a good layout for Siege as well, not sure if you ever tried it.

Instagib doesn't need helth-packs and -vials

In the two last pictures I can see some unaligned textures, but it's still WIP.
The map looks very UT style like. 'Would be interesting to play test it.

For a mapper just beginning, your map looks good in those screen shots you posted above Skyline!
Looks like it would play well too!
:gj: so far.

Nice!! It looks very small but looks like it has also some good dogfight potential.
Interested.

Thanks,

The map is sort of a domination idea..

There is a path, if you follow it you will dominate the other.

Off course there are variables to break this domination to have everyone a fair chance..

Will either call it, DM-1on1-Progression or DM-1on1-Domination

My first attempt at a CTF map fizzled out for a number of reasons. It was getting too complicated, I suspect the geometry was too ambitious for the engine, but mostly I shelved it because real-life issues (financial, health, etc) pushed all my personal projects to the side.

But after a long break I came back to the forum and saw all the amazing work in progress for the AMC contest, and I got the mapping bug again. So I’ve been quietly working on a new idea since early December.

The geometry is much simpler this time. I still have some geometry to finish and texture alignment to fix. Over 95% of the textures are ones I made myself. Lighting is not final. I’ve gotten far enough on one side of the map (Blue team) that I thought I’d share some screen shots.

CTF-Panamax:

Still to do:

Some detail objects (palettes, crates, decals, etc)
Add Pickups
Sound FX
Visual FX (smoke, sparks)
Music
Pathing

As my second attempt, I don’t expect the gameplay to be great. This is more an attempt to make something that looks immersive & convincing. If I am able to complete it (and not be totally burnt-out), subsequent map ideas will focus more on playability.

I have a few more screenshots if anyone wants to see more.
