U/V pan speed?

Post by Emandion » Fri Aug 28, 2009 2:46 am

I'm trying to make a raining effect, for example the kind in CTF-Dreary when you look out of the windows.. But the rain is moving WAY too slow to be "real" rain... Yet it's a lot quicker in Dreary than a simple V pan...

Does anybody know how it's done?

Drop a zoneinfo into your map and cofigure its UpanSpeed and VpanSpeed as necessary.

Go to Zone advanced properties -> ZoneLight -> TexUPanSpeed and TexVPanSpeed

These are the ones you should look for... Putting something near 25 will be a nice rain effect.
