A map?...

Post by Chiko' »

I didn't know where to create this topic, shout it to me if it's wrong.

I saw a video on youtube with a destructible map. [The lego one, for UT3.] I was wondering if a good mapper could be able to create one for UT99. If no one is able, not so grave. I will not shoot a bullet in my head for that.

Thanks. :tu:

It'd be possible, with a LOT of movers, but I think it may end in BSB hell, unless it is made of all cubes. :noidea

Actually, IT IS possible, but only if you install Dots PhysX system and nVidia PhysX in your PC.
Also notice that with that addon the mod would be only playable in Windows systems and in practise or single player only.
Besides, to do a map like lego, you will need to have several meshes in view, so if you use really lego meshes, be carefull with the amount of the lag will be really a huge problem there.
