No I couldn't ...I'm at work right now :P
And thanks, but that's really nothing special...
Liar....

@ Gen
My new part will be a connection-room between my first room and Creavions connection build (floating crates) and will hopefully guide perfect to your part... :what:

Dave, I have to say, your temple rooms look VERY sweat. Possible your best work in this style so far, in both terms of brushwork and lighting.

With some orange lights near the bottom that lava pit will look great. :gj:
Since it's such a risky fall/drop maybe there should be a powerup rather than a few vials.
Do you make all of your caves in editor or with an external program?

Sunday. I'm shooting for Sunday. And if not, Monday is memorial day here in good ol' U.S.A and I'm off school so It will certainly be done by then.
I agree with Dom. We can name the Control points after the mappers name is his respective room.
Does the map have a skybox yet?

Glad to see that there has been some progress.

I inlcuded everything, I think I somehow fixed BSP the bugs and errors. There were some really strange things going on in Creavions connection room. There is a minor brush order bug in Gen's new cave, but it's already fixed I just don't have time to full rebuild and upload again. The new rooms by Gen and Dave are really awesome.

I think we reached a point where the themes are stretched too far. The caves and ancient themed rooms have a totally different feeling like they belong in a totally different map. Where they actually connect whit the industrial/mine theme It looks ugly and ruptured. And not only the looks, Gen's and Dave's sections have much more space and I think they are better suited for team oriented gameplay, whereas the first sections are tighter and would better turn into a Deathmatch arena.

I'd say we have an important decision to make.

Option number one:
We cut off Gen's and Dave's sections, move the remaining map to phase 2 and finish it as a DM map, move Gen's and Dave's sections into a new thread and continue it working on it and building new sections for it in this cave/temple theme.

Option number two:
We stay as we are and continue building a huge DOM map whit this huge amount of theme variation, add another theme in the mix (maybe Crev's awesome Jungles) and have one control point in each theme. (one in the industrial section, one in temple/cave and one more in the new theme).

The simple question, do we seperate?
This is not only my decision to make because it's not my map. So we all VOTE.
Everyone who has contributed can vote and should vote and post their opinion regarding this problem. Voting lasts until monday night / tuesday morning, or until everyone voted and the situation is clear.

I vote for Option 2, since I would like to play after that long time a Domination map again.

I also vote for option number two. I thought this was the idea letting the map evolve. Okay, it is a theme mix but it is combined logically. As long as everyone can understand why different themes were combined it is okay. That's why I wouldn't say "add a new theme" by hook or by crook. Letting the map evolve is the word :o
