Already intrigued by look of the backdrop/terrain scenery.

Looks like you just gave me an exploration quest for the night!

Damn-it, I gotta stop using my crappy old phone to browse here. I didn't see this !
Haha, Creavion you can obviously ignore some of my PM, but I think will still ask those I mentioned.

Right! My work has not finished (but I may need to get some sleep soon. I have been up all night again).

@Bitdood
It's not an explore-em-up map. This is Face with a bit more face-to-face action.
If you want to explore some of Creavion's more original creations, check the links and info in the "Old Work in Progress Thread"

@Everyone
PLAY THIS WITH CHAOS or NW3 NOW !!! :thuup:
...oh, and *ahem* swarm-zombies (in my opinion) ;)

*caught* Thanks for the many comments. It looks like everybody said what (s)he wanted to say.

Most likely I should have waited with my "departure " thread a little bit longer, hm?

I just hope you realized by yourself in the meantime the background is not accessible at all, but rather like in case of Terragen just a rendered skybox. I really throught it was obvious, but I was wide of the mark.

I knew CTF-XC-SnowGlobe had something to do with this map :D
Will try this map soon (my 10 year old bro is playing Operation Na Pali right now).

Hey, I've been watching your progress thread and was excited to see this finally released; since I'm secretly a big fan of yours. However, is there a direct link to download this map? Your link sends me to multiupload and keeps trying to get me to install all these extra download managers, which I refuse to do and I can't seem to get any of those listed mirror sites to send me the correct file or I get a 404 error.

EDIT> NVM, finally figured it out. Should be more direct though!

^ There's also mediafire. It's what I use personally, and it didn't disappoint so far.

Small review of CTF-FacePalm:

First of all this map is Awesome ...not the internet awesome where everything is awesome ...I mean the real AWESOME!

Gameplay is fantastic it feels like Face but with some great strategical twists.
First the huge gab in the "bridge" turns this map into a more defense battlefield ...you can notice attacking opponents better and doesn't have to guess where they might enter your side.
Second the new third island ...who controls this island controls the map ...and bots know this too. You created a third fight zone where everyone (also bots) tries to hold this position. The additional Redeemer and weaponry is also a huge improvement to the gameplay.
Third the Towers themselves ...you added more architecture on the outside and made this way a better second escape route where even noobs can get away more easily.

The Graphic is astonishing ...my old machine got sometimes some lags but this is understandable and no reason for me to not play this map 4 times in a row. :mrgreen:

Only down side is the huge amount of "salad" on the red base ...you can hide better (bots can still see you :ironic: ) but you got also a worsening of your sight.

But on the whole ...this map is it worth to be downloaded and to be played.

Get this beauty!!!

While I built this map I did trust to luck in terms of gameplay only anyway. I thought this and that could be fun and stuff like that. Although I never succeeded with 'perfect gameplay maps', it looks like I never completly failed on the other side, which is good as well.

The 'gap': I think you mean the one with the super health ... I wanted to add some difficulty, it wanted to make it more interesting to get the super health pack. Several people see this map as CTF-Face number 10104040 only anyway.

Third island: Sounds good, where is the problem?! :ironic:
Seriously, this adds a whole new twist. I wanted to achieve exactly this.

Third: Well, possible. The towers looked just too empty. I was somehow aware this could happen.

At least a final good project as it seems.

I want to give a ot of kudos for FragnBrag once again: He pathed the whole map for me, yeah I never learned botpathing.. I am not joking and that guy is just skilled with that, not only because he finished a lot more maps than I did.

There is no problem ...this third Island is for me the most fun part of this map.
I can also imagine a Domination version with one point located on the rock where the Invisibility is placed.

I like this map very much. :gj:
