This map was made for 4 team Siege games.

Below is the source of the map Screen Shot:

Siege maps must be labeled as CTF maps, hence the flag:

I put a lot of effort into this. The bases fit together amazingly so most of the time went into the texturing.

Thanks to Chamberly and Higor for advice and testing help.

TEXTURE PACKAGE NEEDED
There is a dependance on a Texture Package named RichRig or something. Richrig is a common file from one of the Bonus Packs so if you have the bonus packs, you shouldnt require this file. This file should be easy to obtain if you dont have it.

**CORRECTION** The missing package is Annex.utx. RichRig not required. Sorry couldnt remember...

I was not able to include RichRig.utx due to ut99.org's file-size limitations... *cough* :barf:

Feel free to use this map for Monster Hunts, Gauntlet or whatever. It's mainly for Siege [4].

Enjoy

Little confused why there's a blue flag in the green base... but okay.

This might seem like an odd question, but what's the weapons on the map situation like?

I did a review of a Siege map a stretch back, which I played in CTF as it was able to be played that way, and the guy had reduced the numerous weapons on it (he edited an existing map) to just 1.

There are NO weapons added to this map because I was thinking it would only be Siege.

I'm working on Version 2. V2 will have CTF weapons just like the original Niven.

If you edit the map for your own purposes, DO NOT name it CTF-[4]-Niven_v2, just rename it with your name as your edit please.

The GayDar was cute.

I may or may not edit this map, haven't made up my mind yet. Most likely just rename it, as most CTF4 maps start with that as a classification starter to filenames, or the ever popular CTFM.

The one thing about this map that stodd out to me was that it has no bot-pathing at all. If I decide to edit this at all, or have someone do it for me, that's really the only thing about it that I feel NEEDS fixing.

CTF for 4 teams can easily be found on the internet.
Is there any other good reason why you'd necro-bumped this old thread?

Do you think you're able to zip up RichRig or otherwise compress it? Maybe gzip, or bzip2/xzip, or anything like that. That will help :agree1:

As for the map itself, looks pretty cool! I'm going to download it.
