Hellkeeper,
I am interested in taking a look at Qesh to see how you build the level. Could I perhaps get the version with the brushes intact ?

Of course.

I think it would be very nice, when the pack is released, to include a subfolder with everyone's maps WITH brushes.
You must construct additional pylons.

Agree. :!:

It's solves the problem, I used a T3d in the zip, but even then I had to manipulate things to get it back to a map.

thank you Jay2 :) i like the layout and xloc friendliness, but hate that UT city-ish appearance - probably due to the endless hours spent in urban helicopter wars and burger wars back in the day :barf:

i will be releasing tweaked versions of my 512k maps a bit later on ... right now i'm working on some others - i started an assault map, ancient temple in a mountain face, which is a whole set of poly problems - but it is a solid idea so i will pursue that one... right now though i building another CTF, this time it's skarrj (one of my specialty themes ;) but i think i'll throw in an "Evil" twist, and it will be entitled "Hall of Midgets" :ironic2:

Tonight I will play all the submitted maps ...
Cheers

What do I have to set to make the skyzone-info spin around it self ...I tried some settings from Face ...but without any results.
Set the properties of your skyzone actor

goto the top one Advanced, take it off of "static" = False, you could make it directional for convenience to see what way it starts.

goto Movement select ,,,Fixed Rotation, to True

goto Physics, and select "Rotating"

goto Rotation Rate, set YAW for sideways spin, 32000 is too fast for most things, like our brains.

Oh, and no other settings are needed. (I tested the other day, but didn't save the test map)
Thank you ...The skybox is now working!! :tu:

LOL FNB.

Well, I'm working on mine, finally.

Small sneak peak, just building the foundation. Nothing finish or so, will be some while.

Not to this degree, but I've seen similar. Surprised more mappers don't do this, given that the Liandri concept for setting up tournament locations is all about finding places all over known space to set up battle arenas.

There's been a number of places that seemed to be hollowed out asteroids that they did far too much building in, when something more like this map here would've been ideal. Just need enough construction for an artificial atomsphere; built right into the structure of a natural environment is very cool!

It occurred to me last night, that due to the shared resources and small sizes, we could nominate some for converting into a Rocket Arena map.
1 of the larger ones for the main arena, and any number of the smaller ones as the sub-arenas.

Typical screen-shot by an artist there PaperCoffee "Less is more"
That is the most intrigued I have been for a long time.

It occurs to me that Higors map will suit NW3 (as long as nobody tries to deploy a high orbit Ion cannon)
