This is something else - and I have to thank memSys for the Slider bit - check this out :rock:

You can see the difference in the file sizes (note the "Copy" maps have the brushes deleted). The "5a" version used memSys extact slider settings, that plus order to last of the pathnodes resulted in huge drop in size...

So I just went over every inch of the playable surfaces (well not really, but quite a bit anyways) and there's no death-zones so I'm not touching that friggin' BSP again, lol! Since I already have the screenshot and contest graphic in there it looks like i've got a little wiggle room now to fix some lighting and maybe add a few pathing bits...

My second map is pretty much done, I might do some really minor tweaks tomorrow and release it!
Currently the map has a massive 86 bytes of space left :loool:.

Thanks EvilGrins!

Changelog V1 to V2
Fixed problem where you could walk trough a polygon near the rocket launcher.
Fixed BSP problems caused by fixing walk trough polygon.
Fixed some textures (that nobody will ever notice).
Added a very low amount of zone lighting to fix certain dark spots.

I bring some bad news about my second map: I made all the optimizations possible. But I cannot get the filesize below 697kbs, therefore the map is not for the contest. I guess I'll publish the higest resolution version as a standalone or as a 512k bonus map (It's gonna be a 1000k+ map).
Choice up to you guys, whichever the decision is, there will be no difference on it for me.
Though I can exploit my fast mapping skills at the maximum to make a small 1on1 DM for 512k.
