Oh please no, please dear lord god please, no.

You don't understand, man, you've shown through this contest that you can mass-produce maps on demand, but not everyone is like that. I hardly manage to get one map out per year, each time I release one, it is the result of days and days of intense soul-searching and a complete analysis of the game which has to be done from scratch for each one, it is lovingly crafted with hours of hard work to fit precisely into an idea, a gametype, a way to create a number of situations I imagined, each element of the game has been carefully weighed to insure it would be perfect, just as I imagined it, hours were spent analyzing how exactly such or such gametype flows or feels or what are the common constituents of good maps for that gametype, and then through hard work, tears, pain, blood and labour, the mind triumphed into the culmination of art which you call map. Using it with another gametype undoes all this, it's like wiping your butt with someone's most cherished painting because it was painted on a piece of clothes, may you never play this map as a DM one again, or may the flies of a thousand camel's asses infest your testicles!

Also, DM is the mode with the absolute greatest number of maps because they're "easiest" (not really but you know what I mean) to make. I have mostly DM maps on my achieved-projects lists and this contest and this map were an opportunity to add some needed variety. You are literally spitting in my face, stepping on my shoes and not shaking my hand by doing that.
You must construct additional pylons.

Finals of all 3 of my maps:
CTF-512k-Ratchetv2.zip
(372.16 KiB) Downloaded 204 times
DM-512k-Atriumv1.zip
(308.5 KiB) Downloaded 208 times
CTF-512k-Belacruev1.zip
(300.67 KiB) Downloaded 207 times
Maybe someone should put up a server with all the maps on them? Then we can play them together.

i should point out/remind that you can NOT play hellkeeper's DOM-512K-Qesh as a Deathmatch map as well (do NOT attempt to copy/rename)
it plays REALLY BAD THAT WAY, so maybe this should ONLY EVER count as one map!

ps - imo the DM's do NOT need any more competition so this is FOR THE BEST ...

There. My testicles feel better already :tu:

pss - i thought it was a good suggestion, apparently not - sorry about that hellkeeper ...

don't worry about it Chamberly, the line is intended as a joke anyways - I made a suggestion about hellkeeper's map, and hellkeeper didn't agree (rather strongly)

just tryin' to get more DM maps into the mix ... oh well

My third entry is done, the only reason I am not uploading it yet is because I can't get the bots to use the damn elevator!

There is no reaction like overreaction. Seriously, I don't care THAT much about the issue

well then, i ask, did you ever try it as a duel map? know it's a DOM design, and just testing things -- but -- it might not have been your design intent but I THINK it's actually pretty good, as in, it's hard as fuck to repeatably win due to the mobility of the BOT, the placements, and the sight distances negate a bit the use of ranged weapons). There are those times when a DOM doubles well for DM ---- IMHO ---- this is a map where that can happen. but alas, that's my opinion but it is and always was your call... you should take that as a compliment :)

Just throwing in 1 CTF map. Started from Provocation, handed the map to me to do something with it, and had some help from Higor (thanks) and it seem to play well offline mode as I tested.

CTF-512K-In_A_Cave !!

The background let you see the map just a little bit. LOL.
