Re: THE 512kb MAPPING CONTEST
I would. But I have "Few" problems such as work, family...
But also some UT problems (Going a bit Off-Topic): Screen Tearing while playing (fixing), DBBP1 (Which is the biggest), my old TDB-UT2003 (which may be deleted - most of my TDB), DM-Crimson, DM-Pestilence, DM-Arrogance, DM-Sufference, CTF-Spine, CTF-DoubleCore, DM-Jumper and so many others I don't even remember right now. It's gonna take time. If I manage to complete everything on time I'll join the contest (other than becoming an UT demi-god) alright?

Re: THE 512kb MAPPING CONTEST
First map, almost done ... 4 hours - 3CP DOM for max 12 players - currently around 530K with no screenshot and no brushes, so still have some work to do to get it down to 512K
Re: THE 512kb MAPPING CONTEST
OK I am back, I am not T'd off and didn't mean to blast the admin(s) cuz I didn't get banned, so that says a lot.
BUT ! I also appreciate me being in that list by default for the 512k AND I feel I helped only to combat the dark side with that other number, as stupid as it might be for some, but I couldn't stand by saying nothing.
512k should foot the bill, making my 300k was a killer to do.
Oh no, fragNBrag an extra 1 byte, oh sheet, watch out
So I suppose take me off the list, and really really do thank you for making me on that list to reply back.
My brain says It ain't into a map at this time, but a 512 should produce some pretty damn good maps, considering how our first 300k did.
Rock on.
To combat the delete brush issue since I say to include the brushes, but I could not, I included a .T3d file in the end ZIP.

Re: THE 512kb MAPPING CONTEST
Hoping for some good CTF maps - although I doubt there will be many, since the nature of CTF require 2 bases (usually symmetric). And that means bigger file size

You'd be surprised to know that there's more CTF 300k maps then DM ones, see for your self.Sp0ngeb0b wrote:Hoping for some good CTF maps - although I doubt there will be many, since the nature of CTF require 2 bases (usually symmetric). And that means bigger file size

Re: THE 512kb MAPPING CONTEST
I see my name's in the list. I will try and participate but I can't make any promise. I tend to work extremely slowly and have never worked with such constraints.
I predict a good number of maps will use warpzones.

You must construct additional pylons.
Re: THE 512kb MAPPING CONTEST
My name is also on the list: as a prize donator, I guess, as I am no mapper...

Re: THE 512kb MAPPING CONTEST
To be true ...I took only all names I could find in the 512k MC discussion thread.Carbon wrote:My name is also on the list: as a prize donator, I guess, as I am no mapper...
And I forgot some people and added some where I wasn't sure if they are mapping or not. sorry.
Argh... I forgot the correct name of the zone-actorHellkeeper wrote:warpzones.
Well ...then no time to waste ...I'm also a slow mapper.

Re: THE 512kb MAPPING CONTEST
I'll be making a DM map... I'll be very slow and not a winner because I'm not very experienced much. Also, I really can't imagine what 512kb in map would look like so I might wanna take a peek looking at other so I can get the idea how big/small it is so I can start making a map... lol. If I get a pretty good idea, I'll be making another map, maybe a ctf.
