Suggestion, the real winner (between the 2 1st places) is the one that has more votes on the Gamer's Choice vote :)

Well that is a nice surprise. I did not expect to get tied for first place!
As for the prize, well, I did not enter to win a prize I entered for fun and I hoped that maaaaaybe one my maps would be good enough to get in the top three!
If Tomcat wants the shiny sealed bigbox he is free to claim his prize.

Too bad people didn't see how extremely superior my contribution actually was :P

Good job to both our winners (what a twist!) Great maps, now let's release a single big well-organized package and release it officially to the world before partying like it's 1999 (literally). :D

So, who am I sending this game to exactly? I need a name and address! If we have a tie, I also have the UT Strategy Guide I can offer up. No, it isn't quite as sweet at TU, but it's something! I would be more than happy to mail that out to the other first place winner. In which case I need 2 addresses....

Seeing as Paper organised the contest I was waiting for him to post about it.
It is really awesome that you are willing to give out a second prize because of the tied first place!

Well, we got some great new maps from the hard work the mappers put it, so it's the least that can be done. I'm playing nearly all of the maps from the contest regularly...a gift that keeps giving!

Well, thanks everyone! I wouldn't say it's my best work but it is nice to see you've all enjoyed it.

As for the prize, I just wanted to make a map, had and itch and a simple map contest scratched it nicely! So memsys, feel free to claim both prizes for your own, thanks for offering though :)

It's been a great time, congratulations to everyone for making excellent maps!

Ok ... regarding the points of the Participants Vote and the position in the Gamers-Choice Vote...

TomcaT112 with DM-512K-Sonder is the first place and win this contest and will get the UT pack.
memsys with DM-512K-CarpathianNightmare-v2 is the second winner and will get UT Strategy Guide.

But both will get a drawing... please send your mailing address to Carbon.
And PM me a picture of yourself and tell what's your favorite weapon from UT.

TheRoel-R with CTF-512K-CostaDelw00t is the winner of the G-C Vote and will be additionally mentioned in a separate readme file together with the second and third place of the G-C Vote.

To All... please visit the old discussion thread and help us to improve viewtopic.php?p=70476#p70476

TomcaT112: Mate, you have the prize. If you really, truly don't want it, that is your call, but you earned it. Let me know in a PM what you want to do. If you decide to take it, send me your mailing address.

memsys, I have the Strategy Guide - in very good shape - so I will need your address as well in a PM.

TheRoel-R: Please send me your mailing address as well; I have a little something I can send along.

Big thanks to all of you for great maps and congratulations!!
