HELP!
Re: HELP!
This is caused from LODBias... I guess ur not using regular renders for UED which is not working very well for me at all when I build lightnings. Try setting the LODBias value to 0 from the editor. Here is an example:
Type "preferences" in the Command bar below. An "Advanced Options" window will appear, there click on Rendering to expand it and select the render you are using for UED. Try to search for LODBias an change the value to 0 like i showed in the picture.

Re: HELP!
What's funny is that I'm always lamenting the lack of a "Lightmap" display mode for the 3d viewport.
You must construct additional pylons.
Re: HELP!
@Hellkeeper: Another method: write POLY SELECT ZONE in command line (but first select one surface and highlight it)
This command is used to select all surfaces in a given zone.
So use it, assign a white texture, look around and undo when done. ;p

Re: HELP!
Nah, I'd just use shift+s for that because I don't want to just see one zone. Still, the problem remains: it's a pain, I'd rather have a dedicated render mode. Also, UEd 2.1 in Unreal 227 has one, it's great
You must construct additional pylons.
Re: HELP!
Hmmm strange in menu SHIFT+S is listed as 'Select adjacent slants'
and it works when clicked there But normally SHIFT+S select all surfaces on a map, I dont know about this hehe
Hellkeeper you are lazy this is only a few more clicks to see light preview than in U227 ;p

Re: HELP!
Ahah, they have two commands for Shift+S? I never noticed! Perhaps they even both work, but since Select All is among them, you can't really see the effect of the other...
And no, it's really more troublesome. U227/UT200X, I can switch in a single click. Here I have to click on a surface, extend my selection, open the tex browser, choose the texture, then do ctrl+z instead of just clicking 5mm on the side, bleh. I might be lazy (though I like to think I'm not, given how I often make the whole process difficult for myself), but this is really a pain.
