Nemo T3D Wireframe Renderer
hi,
before I joined this webpage: http://ut99.tk/uttracker/map/DM-%28ASC% ... pf&lang=en
at the moment, the website seems to be temporarily offline (as written, because the owner hosts it on his pc so, when this is turned off, the website if offline).
well, anyway, the webpage describes the DM-(ASC)3ommies-resort, a sniper map probably many of you already know, nothing special about it but there is something interesting in Map Layout section: first, there's a low res image of the map and then 2 links for high res images of the map, an orthographic view and a "fake" perspective view (see images attached).
the image shows on top left corner a small title, Nemo T3D Wireframe Renderer (pre-alpha b57), that I easily suppose to be a rendering software for .t3d files, the format used by Unreal Editor 2.0. I don't know this software, I never heard anything about it and I was not able to find any references on the web.
do you maybe know anything about this tool ? do you know the onwer of the website ? thanks
cheers,
Pietro

Re: Nemo T3D Wireframe Renderer
well well -- i have explored this same site a few months ago and thought the same things
if you catch the site when it is up you can do a search for a map, if it is "in use" the page will tell the servers where found, and then i'm not sure if it a dynamic process or not (but it is a bit slow) but it seems to read out details of the map, like pickup counts, size, lighting "wattage" distance between flags (if ctf) and then the graphical manipulations UTPe just described (see attached)... it is fun to look at how this thing displays your map (i have several on the site already)... however, if you deleted the brushes (as in 300k maps or 512k maps etc) then the tool/site can not render a 3d view (which makes me think it _is_ a dynamic process).
anyways, cool stuff to play with
(whenever it is up and running
Cheers

You must construct additional pylons.

Re: Nemo T3D Wireframe Renderer
I'm sorry for this necroposting but I just would like to know if, eventually, someone, over the years, was able to make Stats Tracker (viewtopic.php?f=58&t=11690) work again (I'm still interested in this cool wireframe renderer for large maps). thanks.

Yes. I think this should be the original archive posted by namonakers (viewtopic.php?f=58&t=11690).

Re: Nemo T3D Wireframe Renderer
I add here simple wrapper for render t3d files.
You need drop t3d file to drop_t3d_here.bat
OFC you need installed php with all dependencies in system. It must be in PATH and accessible via
For example I include t3d from stock DM-Deck16][
Results you can found at \UTMP\layouts
If you need regenerate pictures, you need remove already exists pictures for this map.
Code not PHP 7 ready, so produce ton of warning and notices. Also text not drawn.
I think this is pretty good starting point if you want do something more.

Re: Nemo T3D Wireframe Renderer
Thank you very much Buggie.
For some reason (maybe it's the PATH environment variable), dropping .t3d files does not work for me, system says "Could not open input file: render.php" ...but if I edit .bat file, write the .t3d file name directly ("php render.php filename.t3d") and execute it, everything works fine.
This is the result for the t3d file obtained by DM-[SP]SniperExtreme map.
EDIT 28.09.2022: problem solved, it was the PATH environment variable (I did not set it). dropping files now works fine. thanks again

Re: Nemo T3D Wireframe Renderer
just a note as I started using this component on a new platform with XAMPP v8.x
however, the component does not work anymore with XAMPP v8.x (PHP 8.x)...at least, one PHP fatal error shows up (see image attached) :
"PHP Fatal error: Array and string offset access syntax with curly braces is no longer supported in C:\XAMPP\htdocs\NemoT3DRender\common.php on line 271"
if you're interested in using this component to render maps from .t3d files, please consider to use a XAMPP v7.x version or try to correct code
last XAMPP v7.x available: https://sourceforge.net/projects/xampp/ ... ws/7.4.33/
cheers,
Pietro
As pointed out by Buggie, XAMPP v7.x generates a lot of warning messages but, anyway, the rendering process works.

Re: Nemo T3D Wireframe Renderer
Exact this one you can fix by replace curly braces with squared one.
Like $a{$b} make $a[$b]. But I afraid there can be other differences.

You can also drop map here: https://tactical-ops.eu/explorer/ and on models tab select map view. There be live render for map brushes, if its not deleted.
