heliumcat, UEd2 completely ignores the new renderers and you are stuck with SoftDrv.SoftwareRenderDevice.
...unless you edited the ini files and swapped the window renderer to a different one.
I have this in my UT ini
and in the UnrealEd.ini
Using new renderers in UEd means you can edit with compressed and hi-res textures
If you are having a problem with UEd, I recommend keeping a dedicated mini install for editing, and play UT from your full loaded folder.
I use this handy repack called "Unreal Editor 2.1 Extended Standalone edition"http://hof.entre-okc.com/forum/topic.as ... IC_ID=2466
UnrealEditorv21Setup.exe - 291MBhttp://www.ut-files.com/index.php?dir=U ... eveloping/http://unrealtournament.99.free.fr/utfi ... eveloping/
You can add the folder locations of both installs in both main ini files, so you don't have to duplicate files.
