Do me a favor Shadow and proof everything I post on them. You likely know more than anyone about them, what I've learned its almost all strictly trial-and-error. Call me out on any bullshit you see ;)

Well the potential is almost limitless. It was epic's version of cpu-based early "shader system", unfortunetly most of the code is written in asm (assembler) and I know shit about asm. Especially when I think of the wettextures and icetextures it was a first try by epic to do texture combiner effects. It's a shame it isn't documented that well..

Some of these textures don't work on servers, map cannot be started.

Package UT_ArtFX -> BetaBump and MeltGlacier who are ice and wet textures.

Some maps needed to be fixed for server use example DM-Ferrea (the U damage tex) CTF-FoT-Krogaar (teleporters) CTF-FNB-WarpCore (the core)

I don't know for all kind of servers but for my yes.

If the texture exists on the server and it's made correctly then it being a wet texture will not matter. Out of curiosity can you post the errors that your server is throwing with them?
