Alternative way to export .UMX files?

If I recall correctly, Unreal Ed has a feature that allowed you to convert/export .umx files into .s3m. Since I have the Steam version of UT99, Anything to do with Unreal Ed is unfortunately out of the question. So is there any alternative way to export umx so I can use them in SchismTracker?

Since .umx packages almost always only contain a single file, many Module players and editors are able to read them directly. For example, with OpenMPT you can open the .umx file and then do "Save as" to write the module file in the correct format. (e.g. it detects that Firebr.umx contains an XM file)

1) UEd does not work in Steam installs because there is a space in the folder name (?:\Unreal Tournament\). get rid of the space and edit your configs.
2) UMX is a container format. The contents could be anything. You will only get out what was put in.
eg. an .IT file in a UMX will not extract as an .s3m

Q: Why do you want to extract them ?
If you want to play or edit them, you can use them as they are. I add my Unreal** music folders to Winamp and just listen.
There are a variety of updated tracker plugins. Here is a good one http://wks.arai-kibou.ru/soft.php#modplug
