Help installing FMod

Post by UTNerd24 »

Just downloaded FMod but for some reason it doesn't appear in the drivers menu.

I know they need some additional .dll files but they weren't included in the download. :?

So... Can I get a hand over here?
I kinda think FMod will be better since ALaudio is starting to make my head spin...especially on headphones. :omfg:

Or, as an alternative, is there a way to stop the pitches from shifting upon moving, make event sounds loop rather than being OneShots and allow pitch bending to make charge up sounds?
...I didn't think so...
I've been playing UT for so long it's practically tradition.

That's the problem. I don't have the files for it to actually perform at all...

Well, maybe you'll learn to download files from the author next time ?
Where did you get your download ? If it is being offered as a download it needs to be removed, or replaced.
If you lifted it from a redirect site, then you only have yourself to blame ;)

You can either use the last OMP pack, or try the new Beta. These also contain updated video renderers.

I would advise you use the new Beta, as you will be able to get feedback and submit problems to Smirftch

Allrighty. I got FMod working but now there's another problem...
The sound pitches have gone nuts.
When I move forward the pitch is maximum, and vice versa.
Also the muffling from being underwater isint there anymore...
And for certain sounds I get an error saying that it couldn't be found in fmodex.dll or something, but it still lets me play.

:ironic2: I forgot how to computer

All I had to do was restore defaults... :ironic2: :ironic2: :ironic2: :ironic2: :ironic2: :ironic2: :ironic2: :ironic2: :ironic2:
