I did manage to extract some ogg. files containing some Krall Scythe taunts.
I could make a voicepack for a Skaarj character for UT99.

Made this a while ago, ripping sound from the UT3 folder was a real pain in the Butt since it where ogg. files.
I believe i've had them all sorted out for this character. But then again, who uses orders anyway?

There's more than a few servers out there that have bots active in MH or CTF.

Not to mention the demented among us that try to order the other players.

The problem is most of the UT99 coummands are not found in UT3, but a bunch of extra ones are in UT3. You cannot really substitute them because of the difference.

Did you use flay's guide when porting the .ogg's to ut99, it should dramatically reduce the size of the end resulting file

And I was doing exactly what you are doing for all ut3 and ut2004 voices (never finished), you should still be able to have the order text with no voice-over. Interestingly I was ending up with like 40 taunts per character which is quite a lot, but orders etc were all related to whack game types with barely anything usable in UT99's CTF order context

(also there were a couple I could extract from ut99 that were never used in the game like xan calling people jerk-offs. and one death sound where they really choke on their own blood. In fact it's classed as a male voice and it's an absolute slaughter of a sound followed by a womanly scream. I think this might've been for unreal and maybe used in unreal but not sure. Glad they left this one out, the other choking ones are far easier to take in)
