I can't seem to connect to mouses.xyz or 178.128.182.128 though.

Oh, thank you! I just felt like we needed to play together more, maybe that could help the community get some more traction too, but I hadn't quite realized the tribute part. But you're righty right!

Oh, I was investigating some issues regarding custom player models and player skins (namely Draco2 from U4eTC), so I downed the server temporarily. I couldn't figure it out, so I kind of stopped, yet I forgot to run the server again! Thanks for reminding me. It should be up right now.

What time (and zone) on the 5th?

Edit: Also some weirdness with first-person weapon rendering I've never seen before. The rear half of the Enforcer does not render, and weapons like Flak and Minigun are completely invisible.

Running 469a with XOpenGL on Linux.

21:30 in the UTC. For example, here in Brazil it'd be 18:30 PM, as my timezone is UTC-03:00 (aka 3 hours before 21:30)

I didn't notice those! Then again, I usually play with the weapon hand hidden anyway. Also, the server runs a snapshot version of an upcoming v469 release. Maaaaybe, just maaaybe, I could revert that, but I haven't really found any issues, apart from the one you just reported.

Also, I don't know if it's a v469 issue, but bots currently will fail to peruse the teleporters in the map. Go figure.

EDIT: Does the issue persist if you use regular OpenGLDrv? It's also much less demanding of mid-end GPUs (mine is a Fermi-class mobile Nvidia GPU, and it's a dGPU too, so uhh tough luck on my end lol). XOpenGLDrv is not quite finished, I've heard from Anth.

Sounds like an older version of newnet which requires zrangehack=false on clients.

I've been consdering using Arena Match's Arena Physics mutator to multiply the knockback of weapons. I don't know about using the grappling hook. I still think we can go further, maybe add some other awesome fun mod, and I mean without stepping into 200 MB downloads territory of course.

I'm setting up an anti-cheat. I wanted to add some player skins and models from Unreal 4Ever Tournament but had no luck so far. I am not sure about what else I can add, which is why when I chose the event's date I added so much padding.

Many people will already have the grapple if they have a full UT install so would not necessarily DL the Chaos bits when connecting.
Yes you could go further as there are parachutes and jetpacks, but the grapple doesn't run out and can be used as a weapon.

The Loathsome/Gopo port of the zombies!!! mod is small by todays standards.
If used should be set to not count for scores, but can reduce yours if they kill you. This means players only bother with them when forced to.
They should be considered as ambient monsters not game objective. You can easily lose 100 zombies in that map so you kinda forget about them til you feel the clammy hands of death on your back.

That is starnge. Can you connect to other v469 servers? What UT version do you use? You don't need to update, v469 is supposed to be backwards compatible, especially with v436. Nonetheless I have linked your post to Anth, he might have more information on it soon.

I already have BadNews4 set up in the server. Inducing headshots will usually result in a monster spawning in the spot where the victim were when they died. The bigger the killer's spree, the tougher the enemy. I love it! It's almost like a side objective sometimes to get up to a Titan spawning spree (Unstoppable I think?) and sprinkling the map with 'em sometimes.

Which makes me want to extend the time limit a bit more. To maybe 2 hours or so.. nahh, one is fine :loool:
