I suppose you guys might be interested in this as well: The early Unreal Engines were notoriously bad with the BMP format they created for screenshots. Whenever the game resolution's width was not a multiple of 4, the generated BMP ended up being invalid. But not all hope is lost, as it just missed some padding bytes.
This tool I just wrote will fix the affected files. (requires .NET framework 4.x; not tested with Mono)
