Minor Oldskool Bug

Post by UTNerd24 »

For some reason I feel like i've made this thread before. If so, please notify me and I'll swiftly remove it.

So I noticed for some reason, when I click "Enable Oldskool Ampd" to finalize it, it proceeds as it should, but when I open the mod menu again, the button still reads "Enable" when It should read "Disable"

Any idea what the problem here is?
I've been playing UT for so long it's practically tradition.

Could be a read/write issue. I know this happens when UT doesn't have permissions to write to files. So it never actually changes anything.

This happens with other mods. Unless this specific issue is not that.

Huh. I know its more or less nitpicking but I kinda wanna know if theres a workaround to this.
For some reason small details like that just bug me...

You could check to make sure none of the files in the UT folder are set to "read only".

You can also start UT as an administrator. That normally fixes write issues.

Running as an admin made no difference. And Im certain none of my files are read only.

Eh... Its only a small detail. I think I can handle it. But I am welcome to any further suggestions
