I recently recovered some thought to be long lost files of mine. Although the projects are gone forever, I managed to salvage some minor pieces.
Expect minor releases here. Textures, pawns, items.
Feel free to use them on your server, or in projects just include my nick and e-mail in the credits!

At one time in Unreal's development, there was a Skaarj skin with a belt on it's chest. The Skaarj's skin tone was of a lighter green. I tried to recreate it with this one.

MMU Kevlar Suit Skins

Please note that each skin has to be applied by hand via the editor or by using a mutator that does it automatically whenever you start a game with it.

MMU Hover Bike 'B' Variant

Way back in the developement of Unreal Tournament 2003, the game had "rideable" hover bikes that were meant to be used on some giant Bombing Run maps.
The retail product didn't have this feature at all, but had some unused models hidden in some Mesh packages.
I wanted to revive those Hover Bikes to fullfill their destiny and serve us the players.
The bikes are equipped with weapons, both a primary and a secondary weapon with the priamry being some kind of a plasma rifle, and the secondary being a powerful rocket launcher.
They are suitable for online play, and could be used on servers as well. In fact, expect a racetrack to come soon.
I tried to make it as controllable as possible while also keeping it unique and "powerful".
Please note that the bike has a working FPS mode which can be reached by pressing the TOGGLEBEHINDVIEW button (can be set in inputs, it's one of the last in the list) or by typing BEHINDVIEW 0 into the console.
You can switch back with the button, or by using the console again but with the BEHINDVIEW 1 command.
Spawn it directly, or place it to your map.

Have you ever wanted to fly around the Sunspire in a helicopter? Me neither! But with this file you can!
Installation:
Drop the files to their correspondent folders in your Unreal install's directory.
Please note that this mode won't work outside of Unreal 227i (Haven't tested it in J, but you shouldn't have a problem running it there).
The helicopter itself can be placed into the map in the editor, or via console commands in-game.
How to enter the vehicle? Hold CROUCH right next to it.
How to land the vehicle? Realease every button. It should safely land by itself.
How to exit the vehicle? By pressing the THROW WEAPON key.
Is there a behindview defined for the vehicle? Yes, but no. You can change views. behindview=1 will transform your view into a Apocalypse Now Gunner-style view.

After years of unsuccesful attempts, I finally managed to export the Hover Plat model from the Unreal Championship Alpha (ver.num.763).

MMU Unreal Championship Alpha Viper

After years of unsuccesful attempts, I finally managed to export the Viper model from the Unreal Championship Alpha (ver.num.763).
It is the first time! we can actually see this model as it was totally broken in the alpha, making it impossible to place/spawn or export.
How to enter the vehicle? Hold CROUCH right next to it.
How to exit the vehicle? By pressing the THROW WEAPON key.
FPS and TPS views both work. To change between these type behindview 1 or behindview 0 in the console.

MMU Driveable Galleon + Testmap

The mod gives the player a driveable version of UT 99's DM-Galleon ship. The ships exterior and interior can both be explored why "sailing". NOTA BENE: This is a fun project!
You have to press "crouch" when aboard to enter the "sailing mode". "toss weapon" let's you exit the "wheel".

Ugh, I wasn't sure but now I am that I used the 227 specific Blood Splatter decal spawner class. Can be fixed!

Indeed it can - I opened it in the Unreal Editor - removed the BloodSlpat texture (the explosion decal for the projectile) and here's Mr Bones (in UT99) in Inca City

A nice addition - great texture, nice idea with the projectile :gj:

A quick update - the projectile's explosion decal can be replaced by Botpack.BloodSplat. Looks good, works fine.

The only issue with the projectile itself is that because it uses the mesh MantaPart (which presumably only has one animation, haven't checked that), it throws a lot of log spam - like this

Another update :

The issue with the projectile can be resolved by 'rewriting' the code so that the 2 references to animations are to 'Still' - this is the only animation that the MantaPart has.

The other issue with MrBones that I have noticed is that the skin is set in Display -> Multiskins with the result that when killed, but not gibbed, the brute carcass is the normal lesser brute carcass. This can addressed by setting the skin in Display -> Skin - then, when killed, the brute carcass has the Mr Bones skin.

Hmmm, I tried that and the carcass worked well in UGold. :O Afaik.
It had custom gibs at one point too!

Just to note that unfortunately neither of these will work in UT99

1) Sten - uses a static mesh (pity it doesn't work in UT - have used it quite a bit in Unreal and it works well, has a kind of rusty appearance like a weapon that has been lying around gathering dust and rust for a long time);

2 Tarydium cannon - throws this error

The UT version of UnrealShare doesn't have the DirectionalBlast actor that was added in the recent version of Unreal (basically to aid in the attaching of decals for the Flak shell). There would not appear to be an easy way around this.

The skins themselves (.pcx) can be used in UT with no problem!!!

(Expect my custom Kevlar Armor skins in a few minutes..)

So yes it works fine in UT99 - didn't get any log errors from the little that Konoko used it. Nice addition to the UT armoury - had forgotten all about it :gj:

Only slight annoying thing is the constant sound it makes when idle but that's just me (and can be easily altered if desired).

I think the Lava Barrel works as well though didn't try that - it's in my UT/System folder and I normally move 'stuff' to Unreal if it doesn't work in UT99 - so going by that, it does work.

Cool, good to know! Also it's really cool to see my stuff being put to use.
Would you guys like to see some "in-house-intended-only" stuff? (Stuff that was only used in our Clan's games.)
Stuff that are extremely unfinished but playable.

Sadly, it won't work with UT this way. If someone wants to port the meshes over I am fine with it tho.
