Hi,
This weapon pack is for Unreal1 - http://unrealtournament.99.free.fr/foru ... f=51&t=354
There is a same file name what I already have, Botpack.u so it's for Unreal. Somehow possible to fix this to make it compatibily to UT99 this weapon pack?

Botpack.u is one of the core files that comes with the initial install of UT. Under no circumstances should you ever delete it, replace it, or do anything to it.
That said, quite a few mutators that work in Unreal1 do work in ut99. Without copying over Botpack, give it a try.

Mutators are in .INT files. Instead of putting the mutators in a file called botpack, just rename it and the .ini and/or .u file.

This shows only how poor coded this poop must be when the creator named it botpack ... From a coder without basic knowledge will never come good stuff.'Zac wrote:Mutators are in .INT files. Instead of putting the mutators in a file called botpack, just rename it and the .ini and/or .u file.
And no, I didn't check the file.

Re: Mod & ModPlus Weapons
Because there is no botpack in Unreal it was back-ported for compatibility use. There are several versions used in the Unreal servers depending on what you want to do. For instance I use a specific one in my server, different than the UT botpack.
That being said *NEVER* copy core files from one engine build to another. It's perfectly safe to use botpack.u like any other file in Unreal because it isn't a default file in that version. That's why it's tweaked and changed without creating problems. Only use the default botpack.u that is in the UT installation for any use in UT. I can't stress this enough: do not mix and match.

So long, and thanks for all the fish
