UT99 Bot other than the 16 players

I know its possible to put extra bot on the map of ut99, but my question is is that possible to make them agressive and attack any of the 16 players

tx to anyone that can help me on that

What are you talking about? Just few posts above there's a link to XBots mutator that lets you do that

I downloaded it but it only seems to allow you to define more than 32 bots. When I try and play a practise and enter a number higher than 16 it reverts to 16, so what use is this mod??

What it really says "no you can't start the game with more than 16 bots", what a pointless mod!

Yeah...do this. Set your 32 bot mut and play CTF - 16 versus 16. Then switch to DM and you'll have 32 bots.

Went into the mod activated all 32 bots selected user list 1.
Started a practice session of CTF (still only allowed 16 bots at the start)
Came out started a practice session of TDM still can only have 16 bots at the start??

OK, try playing CTF first, but set 32 versus 32. Then switch to DM..

You sure you're using the 32 bot mutator?

Have you tried the "Teamsize" mut?

I'm using XBOTS. That is I start UT goto the MODS menu select it make sure ALL bots are enabled.

Then any practise game only allows me to enter a number up to 16 as the amount of bots I want in it, so why is it not working??

What does not help is there are no instructions!!

Just enter "addbots 16" into the console and they'll all be there. A small price to pay for 32 bots.

I just figured out a way to do this! All it takes is editing UnrealTournament.ini.
Open UnrealTournament.ini (in C:\UnrealTournament\System) abd find [Botpack.DeathMatchPlus]. Change the line "InitialBots=16" to "InitialBots=32" or however many you want. You can change it to 48 or 64 but I don't recommend going much higher.

You can do the same for Botpack.CTFGame, Domination, Assault and TeamGamePlus by changing MaxTeamSize. Before you close the ini, find [Engine.GameInfo] and be sure to change MaxPlayers=16 to 32 or whatever number you wish.
