Want it placed right ?

Post by Red_Fist »

You all may know this, but, if you need actors lined up perfectly, or need to see how close it is to another thing.

but, if you click on the editor right above the window to show "actor view radius" But the actor does not show the drawn circle.
Temporarily change the collision settings (I forget which one) you will then see the drawn radii view circle of that actor in the editor window. Then go back and set the collision to what it was.

Another tip: open the actor properties, go to Movement and edit the Location X, Y and Z to be a clean power of 16.
Then go to Advanced, and set bEdShouldSnap to True.

Now you can enjoy having the actor position as clean as BSP (just in case you need full precision).
