Sure, lemme see...
If ur attacking, take the jumpboots, translocate yourself to the enemy base (while doing that you should grab amour/megahealth/weapons, or anything else you need), translocate yourself to the enemy flag, switch to your favorite weapon and grab the flag, using the jumpboots jump out of the base and head for the lower paths, return to your base.
If you are helping a mate who attacks the best is if you take the redeemer, and clear out all the enemies in the base when he is taking the flag. And you should take out all the enemy snipers.
After he took the flag and is running away whit it, prepare to intercept all enemies translocating to catch the flag carrier.
If you are defending use sniper, but you should always have a short range weapon in your inventory. (if you are playing against godlike bots or someting then use bio rifle, and shoot some at the flag base just before the enemy bot tries to take it. The bots will always run into it, cus the flag has greater priority than the bio-gel which explodes on proximity)
You can also try climbing that big mountain and sniping from it.
If you don't know the position of a specific power-up or weapon then use the unreal editor to locate it.

Real players acctuly do you use tricks because that is the obvious sneaky way xD

I saw a lot of different type of tricks on CTF-LavaGiant, some of them was recorded in Fooze UT movie... That movie you can find via Google...
In that Fooze movie you can discover how to jump over (around) that wall in the middle of the map... In basics there is a place (if you are red for example then on your LEFT side of the map was a corridor...) That corridor come to the wall witch is on the middle of the level, and separate blue from red side...
So when u run on that wall in the main left corridor, charge up your impact hammer, then try to dodge on the LEFT side of the wall same time pressing jump n release your impact hit on the wall, but all the time look down on your feet.
That result you jump all over left side, over the lava n can land on other side of the corridor... but must hold left key pressed whole time, n roll your mouse / aim for a almost 180 degree horizontally...
That is one of the coolest trick I've ever seen in UT.
