Please give me a more detailed view of which fonts are too big etc as I value you guys inputs.
Initially, I think version 101d I got complaints that the fonts were way too small.
The last version 101e, again I was told the fonts are too small especially the Score/Deaths.
This version 101f I made the Score/Deaths the same size as the Playername.
Now you say the fonts are too big.
Exactly which fonts are too big and if any are too small.
Remember I have to perfectly scale each scoreboard to every resolution possible, and btw I always only use fullscreen, I am not a windowed mode fan at all.
I cannot have special font sizes for one resolution as this effects other resolutions.
Basically in the Mini scoreboard, if you fit say 12 players on the screen, then regardless of what resolution you switch too, there must always be 12 players on the screen.
That is perfect scaling.

Personally I also think the fonts are too big and I use a 27 inch Samsung monitor.
Currently I am looking at maybe an option for the player of 3 sets of fonts, but the scaling takes a lot of code to do that :)

ProAsm, Hey. This I asked in MiniSB to increase and make fonts bold of only the values "Name" and "Score/Deaths": "Also, please make a font bold or larger (or all together), which contains basic information (see attachment). Otherwise, everything merges". viewtopic.php?f=7&t=13754&start=135#p119534
As a result, in version "f" all the fonts turned out to be large. And now I think it was enough to just make the bold font of the values ​​"Name" and "Score"

Hi asosed, I see you using patch 436.
436 and 451 do not have bold fonts in the smaller sizes like they have in the patch 469.
Maybe wait for 469 to become public and go from there.
I now program, compile and test everything in 469.
And yes, here also, only 11 players (big fonts) :)

ProAsm, then I would suggest returning the fonts of the values "Name" and "Score" in MiniSB as in the version "e". And make the rest of the fonts smaller than "Name" and "Score"

asosed, I've added a 3 font option and taken some screen shots.
The 'L' large option is the same as 101f that you have.
'M' medium is the same as 101e and 'S' small is a little smaller all round.
See what you think of them.

I may or may not leave the 3 sizes in so you can select whichever default you like.
The problem comes in if I now select 'S' as default, you must see how bad the scaling looks at 1280x720 or worse still at 1024x768 and you will be amazed how many people still use 1024x768 :)

I will never understand the people who play at lower resolutions, never.
Only if you have bad eye sight.. then i can get into it.

I think in the modern world most people have already switched to FullHD

simply look at my images. look at the game text compared to the smart DM text you can see a huge font size difference. I don't play in windowed mode I was just explaining that in windowed mode the scaling works well. In full screen the fonts are comically huge.

I understand exactly where you coming from with regard to the font sizes compared to the game background fonts.
Something to remember, when UT was first released, 1024x768 was the maximum resolution available, and with patch 451 in 2006 (I think) so font scaling went from 640 to 1280.
Also 17 inch and later in 2006, 19 inch monitors were the norm where today it's 24 or 27 inch.
Over the years the resolutions increased with technology and now we have 1920 and even 4k.
So now at 1920x1080 the Patch 451 fonts are a hell of a lot smaller than what they are supposed to be.
Taking larger monitors into consideration, basically all I've done is rescale for modern resolutions so regardless of what resolution you looking at, it looks like it is supposed to look in 1280.
