NEW MUTATORS?
I have been playing this game since I was a child, and this is the best game I have ever seen of my life ! I have already used all mutators that were in the game, but I would like more mutators for more fun . I have never known about new mutators coming out, so please, I would appreciate if you add a bunch of mutators to the game. If I don't know about them, just send me a link of the new mutators to download them

Re: NEW MUTATORS?
Welcome to the forums, we've moved the thread to a different section, as that one was for this forums suggestions etc.
As for your question, most of the time whenever a new mutator comes out you can find it in multiple places, such as this forum or one of these:
http://www.moddb.com/games/unreal-tournament
or
http://www.utzone.de/forum/downloads.php?do=cat&id=1
enjoy your stay

Re: New Mutators?
I guess you are new or a bit lost. First of all you cannot play all mutators because I'm not sure if all of them are posted in public - people might use personal things which are not always addressing at public. The rest of public mutators can be found VIA G00GLE. If you need help, look for a PC operating guide and or using Internet or better start reading THIS forum first, might be helpful for preventing posting the same content multiple times for each ignorant joined.RuNNeR wrote:I have been playing this game since I was a child, and this is the best game I have ever seen of my life ! Re: NEW MUTATORS?
I think he ment all the mutators that came with the game itself, Sektor... you know: Instagib, Low Gravity and so on...

Re: NEW MUTATORS?
Is hard to believe that playing this game for years you haven't been interested about On-Line Info, G00gle can return a bunch of results - then see what he posted at "maps made by community", nothing than adding other post at the mountain of None info posted in forum. As a new guy is not more interesting to lecture random topics than posting useless things? Of course... NOT, we do need to put links everywhere in each topic as much as possible for sleepers and a bell.UnrealGecko wrote:I think he ment all the mutators that came with the game itself, Sektor... you know: Instagib, Low Gravity and so on...
I guess is not a need to teach all aliens about SEARCH feature which I think all forums contains one:

which can be used before to distract members at reading a null post.- Attachments

Re: NEW MUTATORS?
There is a small bug, that bug that mutators starts to disappear when you put a lot of them, only happens if you have hundreds of mutators, it happened to me when i was 8 years old, i've deleted a lot of mutators to make the UTJMH v2.9 mutator to be available.

Re: NEW MUTATORS?
Another spam...
"INT" files can be renamed to "INTU" or "INTO" OR "ANYTHING" rather than deleting files. The rest of speed issues based on accessing 9000 files in a folder is up on anyone who think is cool... doing a professional garbage. These are OPERATING PC lessons after all, heading to a real fact: don't be a moron with your computer unless you wanna find the reaction.
Else we have an unwritten rule around: Change The (loser) User and Try again...

Thank you for making us all feel REALLY old.RuNNeR wrote:I have been playing this game since I was a child
It's not really a bug, it's a configurable default setting. Much as with the default bots selection being a max of 32 bots, you can only have a total of 32 mutators that appear in the selection window, 32 models total to select from for players & bots... and 32 something else. I mean, you can have more than that but they won't show up beyond the 32. One of UT's main .ini files there's a way to turn the 32 to something higher... but I forget where.FXANBSS wrote:There is a small bug, that bug that mutators starts to disappear when you put a lot of them
There's literally thousands of mutators for this game, plus ones that were made for Unreal1 that also work in ut99.RuNNeR wrote:I have already used all mutators that were in the game, but I would like more mutators for more fun
Here's some I've got linked to my lil' UT place:

Re: NEW MUTATORS?
If you figure out how to edit an ini file or setup the Advanced Options thingy, SwarmSpawner v2.0 could add way more than 32 mutators to the game.
*In theory. Not tested yet. (At least by me....)

Re: NEW MUTATORS?
I already know that, it's simple. I use Windows Notepad.exe, cuz .ini files are just text files when you come right down to it.MrLoathsome wrote:If you figure out how to edit an ini file
Also what I edit .int files with.

Dunno if it's all that impressive, or worthy of such respect.MrLoathsome wrote:I respect you more all the time.EvilGrins wrote:I use Windows Notepad.exe, cuz .ini files are just text files when you come right down to it.MrLoathsome wrote:If you figure out how to edit an ini file
As weird as it may sound, the .ini files ut99 uses aren't any more complicated than the .ini files that Windows 3.1 (1st operating system I had at home) used, or much of any .ini files each subsequent version of Microsoft Windows has used. It's just a matter of identifying what applies to where.
