See attached.

The enhancements include support for greenblooded monsters, and a total rewrite of the way the
extra gibs get generated.

Original just had a loop that attempted to spawn goreLevel # of effects all at once, which caused the lag
problems mentioned in the original readme.txt file.

My version adds 2 new config (ini) variables to limit both the rate at which player/pawn deaths will generate
the effects, and the rate at which the effect is generated.

Seems to work much better both on and offline.

The general rule of thumb is that if the mod you edited is not protected, you're free to modify and/or release new versions as long as you give credit to the original authors. I certainly wouldn't bother to wait for a response. Just mention him in the readme.

404 was a tourney clan back in UT's heyday. Shiftre was a developer that released a couple of DM mods and was active in clanbase. That was years ago though, most likely you won't contact him. He's long since gone.

Updated this yet again. Same reason as before.

It will crank out some fairly ludicrous gibs at this point. :mrgreen:
