Redeemer change at High-Speed CTF-Face server

I'm a UT99 CTF Facing Worlds player, often playing at the following server:

Name: [PURE] High-Speed CTF-Face
Game: Unreal Tournament
Address: 69.93.101.77 Port: 7777

The server's owner has modded the redeemer into a slightly weaker version of itself - it still looks and acts like a stock Redeemer, but it's easier to destroy while in-flight. It fails to detonate much more often than regular deemer, fizzling with a much smaller explosion seemingly whenever it's near any combos, spam, anything happening near it makes it fizzle. When it does explode, it is a stock Redeemer explosion. So the only difference that I notice is that it fails to explode much more often.

Ever since this change, my SelectBestWeapon no longer recognizes Deemers, and when I scroll through weapons with mouse wheel, deemer doesn't come up.

Does anyone know how I can get my SelectBestWeapon to properly select this modified deemer? The server owner won't reply to my questions. Maybe I need to add a renamed Deemer to my weapons selections preferences list? Maybe there's a list of renamed Deemers out there somewhere that I can put them all in and hope one works? I'm just guessing really.

Somehow it is a mutator relevant question and somehow it is not. anyway.
This mutator seams to screw your weapon priority.
can you still select the redeemer over the numbers of your keyboard?

I don't really know ...but try the weapon priority Menu maybe this mod disabled the normal redeemer somehow... sorry if this doesn't help. But maybe someone else know something about this issue.

The redeemer selects normally on other servers, just this one server . . . which happens to be the most popular Face server in NA . . . it doesn't work there. Other players have mentioned it too.

It is vexing :) Any suggestions or ideas are welcome . . . .

Tell the admin of the server if it effects more players than just yourself, he/she might be able to fix it.

A couple of us have sent the admin/owner emails, but he rarely replies to anything. He's so private that no one knows his name, either in-game or irl. Even his own in-game admins (who have no access to mods/mutators) don't know his name, and just call him boss.

But I just sent a third email on this issue in order to try again. I was hoping that maybe someone here knew of a deemer mod which fit this description . . . . :help: :mrgreen:

if its a server mod there is not much u can do about it. just have to hope the admin fixes it soon .

just a thought here.. but if its a customised deemer .. then it is likely to be in your cache.
perhaps ... thinking cognitively here.. if you were to 'extract' it from there... and open it up in Ued then you could find the appropriate class name and add it to your user.ini weapons aliases or something..

sorry I don't really no much about these things..
but .. could be an option no?

Can you please check date and user post count before you post anything in a long dead thread?
It's highly possible that the post starter will never see it ...but we get many very old threads revived without any real nutritional value.

Let's give it nutritional value then:
FlakyWarheadLauncher, it's literally a warhead that won't detonate with a shockwave if fired at a close surface (distance is configurable but default is 400x400x400 cube with the shoot origin as center).
