grapple hook

some one can help. i have a server and i would like to get the grapple hook that unrealkillers.com use in combo instagib server

it's somethink like this

NDgrap49b.u
but i need the int file and how to configure it

i have found one that works it named "NDGRAPNC" and this grapple it seems to be the same of comboinstagib server (unreal killers) but it doesn't leave use combo instagib weapon in the game but wen i put all weapons in the server the grapple hook works. but not with combo instagib weapon

i want a grapple hook similar as comboinstagib server. you just in the server of unreakiller and a message appears that says

"write mutate offhand <key>" and you can start flyng by walls like spiderman it's amazing but i can get it.
if someone has this mutater please upload i will very pleased

i want the same grapple hook. or something that leave use the instagib weapon in the server

thanks a lot the "keep it" mutator works, thanks for your time, but one more question, do i can use allweapons mutator with intagib mutator both ???

No idea.

Is there a standalone version of that Chaos grapple hook available?

I got an old computer running today that I haven't used for many many years. It has the Beta4 version of the chaos stuff on it.

Played a few minutes today with that grapple hook. It is freaking great. It is a hook and a weapon.

No, the Chaos grapple is mixed with the rest of the weapons.
None of the standalone ones I have seen are as good looking or feel right.
Hehe, yeah the claw on it redefines melee.

The original grapple has network problems but is fixed in the final 1.1 release.
Feel free to jump into the official Chaos server and go for a swing.
All extra Chaos models and skins should be supported, so you can run around as a Chrek if you desire.
I was going to say prod me via IM and I'll jump in, but I don't think you are a contact.

Chaos weaponry does seem to be a common thing to want as standalones.
The team are resigned to the fact that CUT 1 was a long time ago, they no longer have the source, and that people will just rip want they want anyway.
As long as any reused resource is credited, and the author makes an attempt to let the group know, it is acceptable.

On a personal note, should the Chaos grapple somehow make its way into Unreal, I would be very happy.
All those previously utilitarian city-blocks in many sniper maps, are now just your spideyway to the rooftops.
BTW. for those that have not tried it, it does not occupy a weapon slot and you can use any weapon while using the grapple.

nogginBasher created a grapple that's pretty close to the ChaosUT version (in that there's a swinging motion by default - though this is configurable) I think. There were a couple of different iterations of this, so I'm not sure which is most current, but it might be this one:

Is this the info about offhand? If so the only solution is to actually set up a bind for it. I use in console<mutate offhand q> and i get rid of the sound. And i get to use my bind so it's all good.
