Yes papercofee i think i do have the same problen this win 10 is already activated.
And you guys ust did say that i must register or is windows doing that by himslef?
I have also a medion pc maby i ust can not install windows 10 on this machine.

I was thinking windows 8 or windows 8.1 was made for mobile phones.
Because of the start menu.But windows 10 has also a metro style start menu.
lets stick all to win 7 this os is much more drivers and is more compatibel with the hardware.
i,M HORRORFIED because adding a new videocard in the future on mine system i ust dontg know if this system accepts new hardware..
There also no specsheets availeble from mine motherboard.

When i must decide in the future for a new computer.
Then will i choose the components for adding them.
It will be atleast a asus motherboard with a nvidia videocard.
And ofcourse a ssd harddisk wich goes the system on.
And a data harddisk from a few terabytes.

Its ust a reminder for all other medion users dont buy it ,the hardware support is ugly and sick.

Yes you are right ... 8.1 was meant for the windows phone.
Win8 was the first experiment to get a mobile style start menu running on PCs and laptops with touch-screen.
MS stated, when 8.1 came out that people don't have to update to it, because the main target is the mobile segment. But the masses want always the newest toy and did update anyway.
Win10 was the successor of 8.1 and has the same main target, mobile devices ... But now are the mobile machines disguised as laptops, called tablet PC.

A tablet PC is a full functional laptop with foldable or/and rotatable screen and not a iPad with keyboard attached to it, G-Dammit!

my question to this answer is if you not upgrade within 12 month,s you will not get the update to windows 10.
So if you do uprgrade before the end of this month, you wil and can update from windows 7.8,8.1 to 10.
Like forever.
Well i have upgraded again to windows 10 from windows 8 and windows8,1.
This configuration will run to the end of this month, for atleast till 27.
Hope this information helps with some people.

This is not true you can download and upgrade to windows 10 till 29 of this month after this you stuck with you windows 10 till the bloadware kicks in.
And after a period of time (when you have to install a windows version again).
You canot get a cdkey from microsoft to install windows 10 again permantly so you have to go back to your old os.
So today called with microsoft for fixing mine problem.
So in other words you canot make a clean install from windows 10 with the media creation tool , if you wanna have windows 10 you must buy windows 10 to install it properly with a clean install.
So in other words i,m stuck with win8 and win8.1 forever.

Finaly i did i clean install from windows 10.
I did download the files with the windows creation tool, and made a bootable usb drive.
And did a clean install from the usb flash drive.
The installation did not ask me a dvd or cd key so i did a clean install directly from the fresh usb stick.
And everything works just fine.
So i finaly do not have to go back to 8.0 or windows 8.1.
I now have the first clean install from windows 10 x 64.
I,m very glad everything works.
