What was that? I know that's a demonstration of high detail players (and bots), and big and good terrains...

So I was wondering, that was only a demo or it's a thing we can pay or download for free in any website, like Epics Website or so?

Big terrains could be very good to my mod maps

What the hell is that? An early prequel to the Unreal Engine 2 with ut1 stuff or what?
I know that these are only tracks "Tension 2" and "Skaarj" from Unreal 2 in the video.

That's kinda old, it showed Unreal Engine 1 around Build 600+ shown on UnrealTournament used as Platform in especially designed Maps (probably 600+ or 613). It's the time when EPIC jumped to Unreal Engine 2 around 2000/2001 while Unreal 2 was in development. It featured simple Height-mapped Terrain, Facial Animation (since 500+) + Lip-Sync (Builds 533+), Native Direct3D 8 Support (Builds 500+), Hardware Brushes/Static Meshes (Builds 500+), some major Network and Graphics Tweaks (Build 613+). Unreal Engine 1 Builds stopped around 600/613/630. One cannot really set a fixed build to be the higher Engine Version because the transitions are floating. Unreal Engine Build 600+ was a highly improved Pre-Unreal Engine 2 Build. Around Builds of 633-900 one may speak of the initial first Unreal Engine 2 Builds. Unreal 2 (Builds 827 - ~2000) and UT2003 (Builds 1007 - ~2200) were the oldest Unreal Engine 2 Builds Games.

Wild guess. Fact is, that this the Unreal Engine 2 Runtime.

I remember seeing that video. I think that was the early versions of the UT2 engine.
