Reclaiming a deleted brush

Post by makemeunreal »

Is it possible to reclaim a brush that has been deleted? No rebuilding was initiated, so the brush is-in-fact still in the map.

I know that theoretically it's possible, and I believe a few folks checked it out and were able to do so, but I personally don't know how atm.

If it's a added brush you can make a brush which wraps it and intersect, if the brush contains a hole inside(or anyway if the brush is a subtracted one) you need to make a brush smaller than the one you want to save and then deintersect.
